WHO IS ALBERT EINSTEIN?

Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Germany.

Einstein's parents were non-observant Jews, and they raised Einstein in a secular household. As a child, Einstein showed a strong interest in mathematics and physics, and he excelled in these subjects at school. He attended a series of schools in Germany and Switzerland before eventually graduating from the Swiss Federal Polytechnic in Zurich in 1900

Family Background

In 1903, Einstein married a Serbian physicist named Mileva Maric. The couple had two sons, Hans Einstein and Eduard Einstein. The marriage ended in divorce in 1919, and Einstein later married his cousin, Elsa Einstein. Einstein and Elsa had two daughters, Margot Einstein and Ilse Einstein.

Einstein was a loving father to his children, and he often took them on trips and spent time with them at his country home. Einstein graduated from the Swiss Federal Polytechnic in 1900 with a degree in physics. He continued his education at the University of Zurich, where he obtained his doctorate in 1905.
